Welcome.

At The Samworth Church Academy Sixth Form, we are here to support you through one of the most exciting, but perhaps daunting steps, in your journey through education. We are here to give you the skills, education and confidence that will set you upon your journey to enjoy 70 or more great years after you leave us at the end of Year 13.

We have a dedicated team to support you throughout your time in Sixth Form with us, whether you are continuing your 7 year journey with us as a member of The Samworth Church Academy community, or joining us from further afield, you will be given support when you need it most so you can make the most of your time here and get the results you deserve. We have a dedicated Sixth Form Learning Manager, who as a non-teaching member of staff, is there to support you and make sure your welfare is a priority.

We always strive to create an environment that is welcoming to you regardless of your background, we aim to empower our students to be the best they can be and achieve their potential. We see a substantial number of students joining us from elsewhere every year, with this in mind if you are currently a non-Samworth student, we would encourage you to send in an application of interest to see what we have to offer.

As a student at The Samworth Church Academy Sixth Form you will take part in three Level 3 courses (A Level or BTEC), one enrichment activity (1 or 2 lessons per week) and you will have a Personal Development Program (2 lessons per week).

A phrase we use for our Key Stage 3 and 4 students is 'Find the Child' and this continues into Sixth Form, if you have a talent or an interest we want to be there to help you improve and take it further. We have access to the incredible Opportunity Trust, who have helped fund a myriad of hobbies, interests and passions of the students at The Samworth Church Academy.
