The Decades Summer Festival was an afternoon of brilliant entertainment including some iconic 80s tunes from our performers and the popular 'teacher game show' organised by students. Our Music, Dance and Drama students showcased their hard work in front of a live audience and even the weather played along! 

As well as live entertainment, festival goers enjoyed games, food & drink and stalls from local businesses and fairground rides. There was a great party atmosphere and it was lovely to see so many of you outside of the usual school day.

The Decades Summer Festival served as more than just a nostalgic party; it also raised £2,173.10 for initiatives to support our Samworth Church students beyond the usual curriculum.

A huge thank you to all the staff, students and members of our Mansfield community who volunteered their time to make this a brilliant event a success. Thank you to Maurice Hill Transport Ltd for providing the stage and all the stand holders for adding more to see and do to this wonderful event. A big thank you to musical maestro Mr Copley-Dunn, our performing arts teachers Ms Neea, Mrs Preece and Ms Gatheral, and all the students, staff and volunteers who made this event happen.
