The Trussell Trust is a charity organization in the UK that runs food banks. These food banks provide emergency food and support to people in crisis, like those struggling with poverty or facing unexpected financial difficulties. They collect donations of non-perishable food items from the community and distribute them to those in need.

Students at the Samworth Church Academy are organising a food bank donation drive.

Please donate if you can. Items that are needed include:

Food items  

• UHT milk
• Tinned meat
• Tinned fruit
• Sponge/rice puddings
• Coffee
• Long life juice
• Pasta sauce
• Tinned vegetables
• Tinned meals
• Tinned soup
• Jam & spreads                                                

Non-food items

• Shower gel
• Shampoo/conditioner
• Deodorant
• Toilet roll
• Washing up liquid
• Laundry detergent pods

No thank you to

❌ refrigerated food

❌ homemade food

❌ glass or plastic jars of baby food

❌ expired food

❌ food without a label
