Principal at The Samworth Church Academy, Lisa McVeigh said, “We are once again delighted with our post 16 results which reflect the hard work our students put into their studies with strong support from home and from our great people here at the Academy. There are some outstanding individual and subject performances and we look forward to continuing to build on these successes in the coming years. Our vision for the Academy remains a long-term vision. Today’s results have given us a lot of satisfaction and pride. However, we have a very ambitious wide-ranging agenda and we will do everything we can to continue these improvements in the years ahead.”

Chief Executive Officer at the Diocese Southwell & Nottingham Multi Academy Trust, Chris Moodie said, “I am very proud of the outcomes this year at The Samworth Church Academy. The staff and students have worked exceptionally hard together to achieve these well-deserved results. It is, however, more than just a sheet of paper that defines an education and we are delighted that Ofsted have recognised that the whole curriculum is important. The Samworth Church Academy has known this for many years, and this means that the quality of education enjoyed by all students is very high.”
