Passionate Students Committed To Helping Others
17 March 2017
On Thursday 16th March 32 students took part in a full day of professional training with Restorative Justice 4 Schools. The students who took part were selected from over 70 applications and all wrote of their passion and commitment to helping others.
The day explored a range of scenarios along with techniques for active listening and signposting problems; the skills developed throughout the day will not only benefit others but will also provide the mentors with valuable skills for life.
The official mentor launch will take place after the Easter break and will see our young people develop a student led team to improve well-being and relationships within the Academy.
The trainer commented on the professional attitude and caring nature of our young people and that it had been a pleasure to work with them.
Huge congratulations to all of the mentors on their successful training day and their drive to make a difference.
