Mrs Vivienne Preece BSc(Hons), NPQH
Vice Principal, Sherwood School of Maths and Business
Appointed to the Senior Leadership Team of Sherwood Hall School in 2001, Viv Preece joined the team having previously been Head of Mathematics at the school. She was formerly Deputy Head of the Sixth Form at Swinton Comprehensive School, Rotherham. After graduation from Loughborough University of Technology in 1984 with a joint honours degree in Mathematics and Education, Viv went on to teach Mathematics at Clifton School in Rotherham before accepting a position of responsibility at Swinton School. She has taught Maths at KS3, GCSE and A level.

Mrs J Chapman, Sherwood School Administrative Assistant
Mrs Chapman is the main point of contact for the Sherwood School dealing with attendance and all administrative tasks.

Mrs V Price, Student Welfare Manager
As well as monitoring the attendance of the Sherwood students, Mrs Price is the Student Welfare Manager for the Sherwood School ensuring healthy links are maintained between Samworth Church Academy and the home life of our students.

Mr G Mills, Lead Teacher of Mathematics
Mr Mills is the Lead Teacher for Teaching and Learning in the Sherwood School. He teaches mathematics and is the Tutor of 1S.

Mr C Bennett, Curriculum Manager
Mr Bennett has joint responsibility between Welbeck and Sherwood Schools. Within the Sherwood School he is Lead Teacher for Student Achievement and Tutor of 7S.

Miss R Beard, Curriculum Manager
Miss Beard is the Curriculum Manager for Key Stage 3 Mathematics as well as Tutor to 2S. Miss Beard also teaches Scuba Diving to Year 9 students.

Mr D Munnings, Lead Teacher 14 - 19
Mr Munnings is the Tutor of 10S and also the Lead Teacher for 14 - 19. His role is to ensure that all students are choosing the correct route for their chosen career.

Mr Jones-Oppong is the Tutor of 8S and a teacher of Mathematics within the Sherwood School.

Mr T Adebayo, Teacher of Mathematics
Mr Adebayo, a member of the Sherwood School, is a teacher of Mathematics and Tutor of 6S.

Miss R Leeney, Teacher of Business Studies
Miss Leeney is part of the Sherwood School teaching Business Studies to Years 10, 11 and Sixth Form. Miss Leeney also teaches ICTand is a member of the Year 7 Innovation teaching team.

Mrs R Mapp, Classroom Assistant
Mrs Mapp works closely with Mathematics and Business Studies teaching staff, providing a variety of support for groups and individual students. As well as being Tutor to 4S and mentor to selected Year 11 students, Mrs Mapp also assists with lesson preparation as directed by the teacher.

Mr D Collier, Student Support
Mr Collier is the Learning Technician for Sherwood School, providing in-class support for students and ensuring that appropriate teaching and learning resources are made available as required.

Mrs C Moyse, Achievement Support Manager
Mrs Moyse is the Achievement Support Manager responsible for co-ordinating additional support for students across the Academy and ensuring a smooth transiton from Year 6 to Year 7. Mrs Moyse is also the Tutor to 3S.
