Mr Rob Grover BSc (Hons)
Vice Principal, Welbeck School

Rob joined the Academy in September 2010 to lead the Welbeck School.  Rob comes from a Physical Education background, gaining a degree in Physical Education at Sheffield Hallam University.  He has a real enthusiasm for the varying aspects of the Performing Arts spectrum and is relishing the task of leading and developing the school and the whole Academy in this area.  Previous posts include Head of House, Head of Year and Head of PE at The Priory LSST in Lincoln.  This was

followed by a move to Allerton Grange in Leeds where he spent 3 years, the last 2 years of which were on the Senior Leadership Team as Assistant Head Teacher with responsibility for whole school curriculum.  Rob was a keen footballer who represented his county and North England universities, going on to sign briefly for Worksop and Lincoln United on a semi-professional basis.  Career demands and eventually a serious knee injury brought the football to an abrupt end, so golf is an ever increasing passion.
