This will be one of the distinctive features of The Samworth Church Academy. We attach great importance to education outside the confines of the traditional classroom.
In fact, we firmly believe that it is vital to our students’ overall wellbeing and balanced outlook. This is why we expect everyone to be involved in a wide range of outdoor activities, including outward bound trips and visits to Sherwood Forest, which we are fortunate enough to have so close by.
It is our intention to involve every student in these activities, some of which will be residential activities away from home.
