 The students took part in a wide range of track races from a 2 lap relay to a 6 lap long distance race. In the field, students competed in the following events Speed Bounce, Standing Long Jump, Standing Triple Jump, Vertical Jump and Shot.
The competition overall was very strong and after some excellent efforts from our students I can abhounce the results.
Year 7 girls finished second overall. This, in itself, is a smashing achievement and each student should be commended for their attitude and desire to win.
Year 7 boys finished first overall and are now through to the County School Games on Monday 27th February at Nottingham Trent University. This is a magnificent achievement to date and it is something that we are very proud of at The Samworth Church Academy.
