Among the many recipients of the special awards were Alex Vasper Year 11 who won the Award for Outstanding Achievement and Beth Mortiboy, Year 10, the winner of the Rebecca Adlington Award for Outstanding Achievement.
Rebecca and Mr Grainger handed out many awards to students who had shown special skill and determination in their chosen sports during the evening. Rebecca was also interviewed on stage by her sister, Laura Adlington, PE Teacher at The Samworth Church Academy.
